Presentation of  the book "Amor de mis amores" by Eva Gasteazoro at McNally Jackson Books in New York.

Spanish Authors in America is a program aimed toward the promotion and divulgation of Spanish writers in the USA. Sponsored by America Reads Spanish (ARS), Instituto Cervantes, New York Public Library, Spain Commerce Ministry, the program has been extremely successful with its presentations of bestsellers Spanish writers in the USA.

Book presentation at Libreria Universal en Miami January 28 and February 12.

"Columns of smoke," a historical novel by Uruguayan doctor and pastor Alvaro Pandiani, was the winner of Grupo Nelson Christian fiction literature Prize. "My grandfather explained very well to birds," by Colombian Ivan Castro Rodel, won second place. 

Alvaro Pandiani, 43, gave thanks to God for allowing him to disseminate the truths of Christian faith through a novel that recounts the spiritual pilgrimage of some characters in the history of his country. 

"Columns of smoke" deals with universal themes such as love, ethnic hatred, hope and forgiveness, as evidenced during the yellow fever epidemic occurred in Montevideo in 1857.
