Many persons, politicians and Spanish singer Joan Manuel Serrat attended the Uruguayan writer’s funeral.
The doors of the impressive Legislative Palace in Uruguay were opened for many hours to honor writer Eduardo Galeano who passed away on April 13th. The service was attended by Galeano’s relatives as well as by a huge crowd that included renowned politicians and cultural representatives.
