The FGEE (Federation of Publishing Guilds of Spain) and ISBN Agency 2014 report shows a reduction of 2.5% from last year. The 72,416 titles include paper, digital and other formats. Children, young adults and education titles present an increment.

“The publishing industry moves about 3,000 million euros annually, and gives direct and indirect employment to over 30,000 people. The 840 publishing companies grouped in the FGEE represent about 95% of the sector's sales. Internationally, in 2013 the Spanish book sector exported 526 million euros.”
