Instituto Cervantes NY hosts workshop “How to Read Mario Vargas Llosa's Fiction?”

Offered through the Cátedra Mario Vargas Llosa at The City College, Continuing and Professional Studies course is taught in Spanish by J. J. Armas Marcelo, a leading novelist and critic of the Peruvian writer, with Raquel Chang-Rodríguez, Distinguished Professor in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures.

“How to Read Mario Vargas Llosa's Fiction?” will focus on three principal themes: autobiography, politics and freedom as developed in Vargas Llosa's narrative. There will be lectures, audio-visual support, ample time for discussion and individual interaction.
