Liber pays tribute to Ana María Matute

One of Liber's most moving events is the tribute to Ana Maria Matute with the public reading of her latest novel, “Family Demons,” the manuscript that she was finalizing when she died last June.

The event is open to the public and will take place on September 30th, from 12 to 6 p.m. at the lobby of the Gabriel García Márquez Room.

After the reading, José Manuel Blecua, Director of the Royal Spanish Academy, and the also academics Carme Riera, Pere Gimferre and Matute's editor, Silvia Sese, will evoke her memory in an act to be presented by the writer and journalist Sergio Vila-Sanjuan.
