Synopsis

According to Celebrity Net Worth magazine Griselda Blanco, the Godmother, was the ninth richest drug dealer in the world. With more money than Al Capone, her fortune was estimated at two billion dollars. This is why the Black Widow, as she was also known because of the rumor that she killed several of her husbands, became an obsession for US authorities. After more than twenty years in prison Griselda Blanco silently returned to her country. The only time she was heard from after that was on September 2, 2012, when she was shot and killed while buying meat in the Belén de Medellín neighborhood. José Guarnizo reveals the best-kept secrets of Griselda Blanco's life, visiting her friends, ex-employees and hair stylist, carefully retracing la Tía's (another of her nicknames) steps. This is the story of a woman who for years controlled the drug trade between the United States and Colombia.
