Letralia, Tierra de Letras (Letralia, Land of Literature), is the online magazine for Spanish-American writers. This is the first literary magazine published on the Web from Venezuela, a country with a great literary legacy but with few opportunities for disseminating the work of its present-day writers, especially young people. PARES (Portal of Spanish Archives) is an Internet portal created by the Spanish Culture Ministry with millions of images and documents from Spain’s principal archives – the “big unknown” of the country’s historical heritage. Among the digitalized documents that can be found on PARES are some of great historical value like the Treaty of Tordesillas, Isabella of Castile’s will, documents written by Hernán Cortés and city maps of the colonial period. PARES, which is accessible via any Internet navigator without the user needing to register or make any downloads, is also free of charge.
