Changes in the Foreign Rights Department at Penguin Random House

Fourteen years after the department was set up by Justyna Rzewuska, and having achieved major successes such as the sale of the rights for Julia Navarro, Ildefonso Falcones, Albert Espinosa, Toni Hill and Maradona, among many others....

the Foreign Rights, subsidiary and audiovisual rights division is merging with Licensing & Merchandising, in a desire to redefine its goals, develop new business lines and consolidate and expand its foreign rights and authors’ office activities.

Conxita Estruga, who has been running Licensing & Merchandising and Children and YA Foreign Rights since 2014, will now head up the Rights Sales department, reporting to Claudio López de Lamadrid. Conxita has twenty five years’ experience in the sale and purchase of licensing rights. She will be managing Maria Reina de la Puebla, Clara Stern (who works at our subsidiary in Mexico) and Sergio Gómez, all of whom will keep their current responsibilities.
