Celsius 232, the festival of fantasy culture, will hold its fifth edition in Avilés between 20 and 23 of July

The festival will consolidate its place as a leading festival in the genre with its fifth edition, to be held in the north of Spain..

and feature about fifty writers from Spain and overseas including the Spanish authors Manel Loureiro, Elia Barceló, César Mallorquí, Cristina Fernández de Cubas and Javier Ruescas, the British writers Michael Moorcock, Ian McDonald and Joe Abercrombie, and the Americans Kevin J. Anderson and Ryan Boudinot.

A notable feature of the 2016 edition is the new Kelvin 505 prize for the best novel in the science fiction/fantasy/terror or similar genre published in Spain in 2015.

Best Spanish YA Novel: Todas las hadas del reino (All the Fairies in the Kingdom) by Laura Gallego. Ed. Montena.

Best Overseas YA Novel: Medio rey (Half King) by Joe Abercrombie, translated by Manu Viciano. Ed. Fantascy.

Best Spanish Novel: Challenger by Guillem López. Ed. Aristas Martínez.

Best Overseas Novel: Las primeras quince vidas de Harry August (The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August) by Claire North, translated by Jaime Valero. Ed. Hidra.
