Anagrama Launches Comic Book Collection

Journalist Matías Néspolo revealed last Thursday in his column in the Catalan edition of El Mundo: Anagrama will launch in 2017 a collection “dedicated to comic books and graphic novels.”

The launch of this new collection comes at the same time that the Anagrama baton is being passed on: the first title will be published before the summer of 2017, months after that Jorge Herralde —founder of that publishing house— will cede his position to Silvia Sesé.

That will happen on January 2nd of the next year, and by then they will be already at work on the first titles of the collection. According to Matías Néspolo, this collection –so far unnamed—will open with Liniers, Argentinian artist previously published in Spain by Reservoir Books. Liniers is being represented by his ex editor in that editorial label, Mónica Carmona, who is now a literary agent, and from whom Anagrama has picked up four books unpublished in our country, though already published in Argentina.
