Antonio Colinas. The Spanish poet, novelist, essayist and translator was born in La Bañeza (León) on 30 January 1940. He has published essential works of the Hispanic poetry, like Poems of land and blood, Preludes to a full night, Sepulcher in Tarquinia, Night beyond the night and Songs for a silent music. This XXV award from the National Trust and the University of Salamanca (endowed with 42,000 euros), will be bestowed to the winner in Madrid this coming November.
