US Student Recognized as Student Embassador of Spain at John Carroll University in Ohio

Ovidiu Breahna, a student at John Carroll University in Ohio, received today at the Embassy of Spain in Washington an award given to the Student Ambassador of the program "Study in Spain," dedicated to promote Spain as a destiny for international students.

Breahna, who has a degree in Spanish and Biology, is currently working in a dissertation about the writer Miguel de Cervantes, and was recognized for his efforts to promote the “advantages” of studying in Spain and for advancing the Spanish language among his fellow students and the educational community.

The student, of Rumanian descent, studied in Spain for a time, and later participated as ambassador in the program "Study in Spain," developed by the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, the Cervantes Institute, and ICEX Spain Trade and Investment.
