The federal Ministry of Culture of Mexico and the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) have announced the launch of the call for the Carlos Fuentes International Award for Literary Creation in the Spanish Language 2024.
The call is aimed at ministries, secretaries of State and government agencies in charge of the promotion and dissemination of culture and the arts in Ibero-American countries; to the academies belonging to the Association of Academies of the Spanish Language, and to educational and cultural institutions, public or private, national and international that, due to their nature, their purposes or their objectives, are linked to literature in the Spanish language, to propose writers who, through their entire work (written in Spanish in its entirety or a substantial part), have contributed to enriching the literary heritage of humanity.
